Petitions are a great way of engaging local authorities and communities - if you can get enough signatures on your petition, local authorities are required to take steps to action.

Below you can browse through and sign existing petitions, or create your own.

When a new petition is created we have to make sure any content which could offend is removed so there will be a short approval process before your petition appears on the website for others to sign.

When signing someone else's petition, as with paper petitions, your name and postcode is added to that petition. This is so that each person signing has some validation in our scheme. But other people who look at the website will only be able to see your site name (which you choose) not any other details about you.
